Mankind Project of Canada East

The community of Mankind Project (MKP) in eastern Canada is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The ManKind Project in eastern Canada is a vibrant and multicultural community of empowered men sharing the same interest and passion for developing and living authentic manhood. We support each other, and our families, to live in integrity, authenticity, and service to create a world of love, healing, and consciousness.

The Mankind Project (MKP) in eastern Canada began in the mid-1990s and is part of a charitable, non-profit organization that has affiliations throughout North America and overseas. We encourage current and new members to fulfill their potential through education, mentoring, and example. Our training (NWTA weekend) and support groups (iGroups) create an opportunity to look deeper into our lives and make healthier choices. We welcome all men over eighteen regardless of culture, faith, age, race, class, sexual orientation, gender, ability, ethnicity, or nationality. We foster loving families, strong communities, and productive workplaces in a sustainable environment.

The community in eastern Canada is growing with over 300 initiated men from Montreal and surrounding areas including: the Laurentians and Trois-Rivières, also from Ottawa Ontario and the Maritimes provinces. Men are initiated into our processes and techniques by attending a NWTA training weekend. These weekend programs are held periodically near Montreal.

One thing that is special about us is that we are a bilingual community of men getting along and evolving through MKP whether English or French is spoken. Language is a reason to care better about communication and understanding. This proves that authentic manhood is above cultural differences in men. The NWTA training in Montreal is bilingual. In addition, we offer a wide range of optional trainings and opportunities in leadership, spirituality, elder-hood, relationships, networking, social activities, and community service.

Our mission includes:

  • Empowering men to live lives of integrity, accountability, and connection to feeling.
  • Creating a compassionate, loving, respectful community for all by being in our authentic selves.
  • Being of service to the community at large as individual men with a renewed sense of passion and responsibility, and as communities of men working together to build relationships.
